For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data

Deponti BV processes your personal data for the following purposes:

*Collecting personal data based on consen

The collection of personal data based on the consent of data subjects is carried out using "Consent Forms", documenting the consent given by the person. This is done both on our website and in our CRM system. Personal consent will always be stored and documented in our systems and applies for the purposes below:

• Following up requested information and questions asked via the website
• Applications made via the website or vacature@deponti.com
• Sending newsletters to our (active) customer base

*Personal data collection based on contracts

We use personal information to fulfil our obligations under contracts and agreements with customers, partners and suppliers.

*Personal data collection based on legitimate interest

We may use personal data if this serves a legitimate interest and if the privacy interests of the data subjects do not outweigh this interest. This legal basis is primarily related to sales and marketing purposes. We will always inform individuals of their privacy rights and the purpose for which we collect personal data.

Deponti BV does not make decisions about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals based on automated processing. These decisions are made by computer programmes or systems without a human being (e.g., an employee of Deponti BV) being involved.

How long do we keep personal data

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. We also keep in mind that we need to be able to answer your queries or resolve potential problems, comply with the legal requirements of applicable law, handle legal claims/complaints, and protect the data.

This means that we retain your personal data for a reasonable period after your last interaction with us. For applications through our website, we will keep your data for a maximum of 1 year, and for job applications, we will keep your data for a maximum of 4 weeks unless you permit us to keep your CV longer.

When the personal data we have collected is no longer needed, we will securely delete it. We may process data for statistical purposes, but the data is anonymised in such cases.

You also have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you.

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, or data transfer of your personal data, as well as a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to info@deponti.com. We will respond to your request quickly but within four weeks.

Deponti BV takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you think your data is not adequately secured, or there are indications of misuse, please get in touch with our customer service or info@deponti.com.

To protect customer personal data in our CRM system, we use an online CRM application with certification whose provider is certified per ISO27001.
