This wood species originates from the South America, but is meanwhile also available in Africa and Asia and can reach heights op to 25 meters. This wood specie has various advantages such as being termite resistant, having a long lifespan and growing more beautiful with age.
Suar is suitable for processing in furniture, because it is an extremely heavy and strong wood species. Since it isn't an endangered wood species, its harvested legally and meets the '’Indonesian Legal Wood’’ certificate.
The tree doesn't have a fixed habitat and grows everywhere. Because of its rapid growth and solid and strong character, this wood species is in high demand for high quality products.
